PDF\\\'s, what are they and how do I access them?

PDF stands for Portable Document File. To read a PDF you will need a plug-in called Adobe Acrobat Reader, this will enable you to view/read these files. This software can download, for free from: http://get.adobe.com/reader.

Any users who have may have further concerns about accessibility should visit www.adobe.com as some of the more recent versions of Acrobat Reader have a Read Out Loud facility/option which may prove helpful.
